History of ORMEMS
Oriental Mindoro Emergency Medical Service Inc. was started in August 2018. It started through the vision of the Austrian Airforce Paramedic and Master Seargant (OR-7) Klaus Huber, the President and Chief Executing Officer of the incorporation.
His beginning had an excellent education and variety of training courses in medical and emergency rescue services in Austria. He perceives that many people suffer illness on vacation, accident on vacation, tourists with the same experiences and so on. Then he came on the idea to start providing ambulance services. With the encouragement of Dra. Arroyo, the help of Dr. Mario Lutz and Mary Grace Velasco BSN, to support this plan and to make it true. A very big supporter and mentor from the beginning on was Michael Deakin, the Head of Lifeline 16-911 in Manila. In the change of the year Dr. Mario Lutz and Ms. Mary Grace Velasco left after providing great assistance with their knowledge and contacts for the company.
In 2019, SEC and BIR approved the permits to operate from the scratch into reality. In March 2019 DOH announced that ORMEMS is the first and only licensed Ambulance Service Provider Level II on Mindoro.
With the full support of its Board of Directors, its progressive management and dedicated officers and staff, ORMEMS works hard to maintain its stature as one of the highest standard of Emergency Medical Service in the country.
